Lighting

Adding extra lighting to your event is one of the easiest ways to completely transform a room into a something magical. We are visual people after all, but trying to describe lighting effects is like trying to describe a colour.

To help we have created a breakdown of what types of lighting we offer:

Uplighting

Uplighting is now our number 1 chosen extra package and it a fantastic way to transfer your room into something magical.

Uplighting means that flood lights called par cans are place along the walls of your rooms.

The effect is spectacular and you can transform your banquet room into any colour you like. E.g. have to room transformed into pink for a princess or black and amber alternating colours for your county team! The colour of the room is controlled centrally and can be changed throughout the night.

Its like being surrounded in colour!

To achieve this effect, Alpha Entertainment use high powered LED lights that do not create heat, are chrome in colour and completely safe. There are more examples of uplighting at many of our events so check out our gallery..

Adding uplighting to an event starts at 300 euro but does depend on the size of the room, so some extra charges may apply.

Uplighting may also be used outdoors if you are having a party at home or you want to uplight the surrounding areas of your venue.

Moving Heads

You have seen them on X Factor and Who Wants to be a millionaire.....

Moving heads are the light that can move in a any direction and Alpha Entertainment use top of line moving heads that add unbelievable colour washes or colour effects. We can even install custom gobo i.e. your company logo which can be displayed on the moving head.

Star Cloths

Alpha Entertainment has an large range of star cloths which will give your stage or event the ultimate backdrop.

Becoming more and more popular, we believe Star Cloth to be the magic ingredient to ensure an effective, attractive yet sophisticated look. Typically used at the back of the stage or where the performer is located. Star cloths transform a dull boring looking wall into a magical event. Star Clothes can also be fitted on a ceiling or entry wall.

Also becoming more and more popular for marquee users is covering the dance/entertainment end of the marquee completely in star cloths and having the dinning area of the marquee in traditional white colour, then adding LED Up-Lighters to slowly change the colour of this whole area.
Star cloths hire start at around 200 euro but can be higher depending on the installation required. Remember over pricing will be reduced when used as part of package.

Club Lighting / Extras DJ Lighting

All of our DJ packages come with state of the art lighting that will light the dance floor and surrounding areas but at Alpha Entertainment we offer flexibility in our lighting. This flexibility allows us to deliver even more lighting for your event. You can add the options above ie uplighting or moving heads but we can also add extra disco affects such as:

-Lasers giving mirror ball affects
-Lasers for a night club affect
-Hazers and smoke machines
-Additional additional stage lighting
-Additional disco lighting
